Alex Wilson
Alex joined Action tutoring in November 2023 as our Midlands Programme Manager.
As a Programme Manager, Alex oversees the delivery of our tutoring programmes in partner schools in the Midlands. She is in charge of maintaining and developing relationships with partner schools and make sure tutoring sessions run smoothly
Having worked in education and previously managed a tutoring programme, I was interested in Action Tutoring’s focus on working with pupils from disadvantaged areas. I was especially drawn to the charity’s advocacy and their commitment to helping learners bridge the attainment gap.
I love supporting our friendly, collaborative and committed team to ensure that our learners and partner schools are having a smooth and enjoyable tutoring experience. I have the opportunity to learn from a range of people who are all working together to have a positive impact on schools and young people.
