Anna Robinson

Pronouns: she/her

Anna joined Action Tutoring December 2020 as a Programme Coordinator for Liverpool.

She then moved from Liverpool over to Chester and Wirral to work with the increasing number of schools in the area in August 2021, expanding into two new school partnerships made possible through the Westminster Foundation. Anna is responsible for liaising and working closely with our partner schools and pupils, as well as managing our pool of volunteer tutors.

Having worked in education since graduating from the University of Wales with English Language and TEFL in 2005 and a PGCE in Secondary English at Sheffield Hallam in 2007, Anna worked  at a disadvantaged city school in Sheffield for six years. There, she began to know the challenges and understand the barriers that disadvantaged pupils face in education.

Being a trainer in safeguarding, a Girl Guide Leader and Division Commissioner for Girlguiding, Anna has always worked with young people, aiming to bring out the best in pupils, both academic and personal, so they can succeed at anything they put their mind to.

In her spare time, Anna also loves to bake and decorate cakes!
