Callum Hibbs

Callum joined Action Tutoring in September 2021 as a Programme Coordinator for Bromley.

Callum is responsible for overseeing a caseload of partner schools in Bromley, liaising and working closely with the schools and pupils as well as managing our pool of volunteer tutors.

Callum studied History at The University of Manchester, alongside which he worked part time as an English Language tutor in a pupil referral unit. From this experience he saw first-
hand the positive impact that tutoring has on a young person’s education, attainment, and self-belief.

After completing his Master’s in Law, Callum worked as a family law paralegal and volunteered as an advisor for the Citizens Advice Bureau. Callum gained a lot from his time in law, but felt, however, that he had a greater impact when working directly with young people. This led to his most recent experience designing and running activity sessions for displaced young people across Calais and Dunkirk.

Callum is extremely excited to join the Action Tutoring team and to be working towards a fair education for all.
