Eliza joined Action Tutoring in September 2020 as maternity cover for the role of Volunteer Partnerships Coordinator (Corporates).
Eliza studied International Development at the University of Leeds for her undergraduate degree and recently completed her masters in Human Rights Law, also at the University of Leeds. During her studies she focused on the role that education plays in development and how crucial equitable access to education is in order to tackle social inequality. Before joining the Action Tutoring team Eliza had various roles working with volunteers and disadvantaged young people.
Eliza is excited to be able to contribute to a charity that helps to close the educational attainment gap and is enthusiastic about the impact this can have on social mobility long term.
