Maisie joined Action Tutoring in September 2021 as Programme Coordinator for London.

Maisie is responsible for overseeing a caseload of partner schools in London, liaising and working closely with the schools and pupils as well as managing our pool of volunteer tutors.

Maisie studied Psychology at Oxford Brookes University. Since graduating, she has worked in the legal sector, both in the finance and HR departments. Her volunteer work includes being a mathematics assistant at HMP Grendon and Springhill, helping inmates to improve their skills and gain confidence.

Maisie previously volunteered as a maths tutor for Action Tutoring, which further sparked her interest in the charity sector.

Maisie is so excited to be a part of an amazing organisation whose work leads to a fairer education system and which helps pupils from all backgrounds achieve their potential. Alongside her passion for social justice, she is a keen (self-aspired) yogi, she loves to travel and can talk about veganism till the cows come home.
