Valerie joined Action Tutoring in August 2020 as a Programme Coordinator for London, later becoming our Communications Manager.
Valerie is responsible for defining and overseeing delivery of the network communications strategy.
What I’ve enjoyed most over the last two years, outside of working in schools and directly with pupils, is being part of a really supportive delivery team. I’m looking forward to a similar team dynamic as I move into the Marketing and Communications team.
I’ve only just recently moved into my current role at Action Tutoring but in terms of my previous role, I really liked that I was able to assume quite a significant amount of autonomy in terms of coordinating programmes. I enjoyed working with lots of different stakeholders from teaching staff and pupils to parents.
