Thank you for volunteering with Action Tutoring. We’re so pleased you have chosen to support our mission. Our autumn programmes have now launched, they were incredibly popular and our online spaces are now full.
We are anticipating opportunities opening up in the next few weeks and months, as more schools come on board. Please bear with us and we’ll let you know when these are available.
While you are waiting, you might want to consider some other ways you can support us and prepare for tutoring:
- Consider tutoring in-person in an area local to you. You can email engagement@actiontutoring.org.uk to discuss this further.
- Access our learning and development resources for tutors, via 360Learning, to expand your tutoring skills and knowledge. Here you’ll find PDF copies of our tutoring resources and optional training courses designed to upskill you as a tutor. You’ll have access to the site once you have attended your initial training with Action Tutoring.
- Recommend us to any teachers or schools you know. They can get in touch via: schoolenquiries@actiontutoring.org.uk. The more schools we can work with, the more pupils we can support and the more tutoring opportunities there are for our volunteers!
- Get involved with a fundraising activity, so we can continue to subsidise our programmes for schools, making them more accessible when budgets are tight.
