Cathy Perera
Cathy joined Action Tutoring in August 2020 as Programme Coordinator for Chester before moving on to be our Corporate Partnerships Coordinator. From November 2023, she has joined the MarComms team as our Tutor Communications Officer.
Cathy is responsible for building on and developing new relationships with organisations, including corporate businesses and the civil service, with the aim of encouraging employee volunteering and ensuring a sustainable pipeline of volunteers.
I’ve always wanted to make a difference in the lives of young people facing disadvantage across the country. I believe every child deserves equal access to high quality education which opens up opportunities for them in their future.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a range of passionate individuals across our various teams, picking up knowledge and skills in different areas of the charity.
