Kuljinder joined Action Tutoring in December 2022 as a Communications Assistant. In September 2023 she moved into the marketing team and is now Digital Marketing and Communications Officer.
Having only recently joined, one thing I am really enjoying about Action Tutoring is how supportive, welcoming and warm everyone in the organisation has been. Despite working remotely, I instantly felt apart of the community and I really value the passion and drive that everyone brings daily to supporting pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.
What drew me to Action Tutoring initially was its social mission – I strongly believe that all young people, regardless of their background, should have equal access to resources and opportunities to be able to reach their full potential. The work that everyone in the team does to level the playing field and work towards closing that attainment gap is incredibly powerful and to work with such like-minded people inspires me everyday!
I am excited about the future of the organisation, its advocacy work and to be apart of its continued growth, reaching even more pupils and areas of the country.
