Lauren Clatworthy
Lauren joined Action Tutoring in March 2024 as a Programme Coordinator for the South West.
Lauren is responsible for overseeing a caseload of partner schools in London, liaising and working closely with the schools and pupils as well as managing our pool of volunteer tutors.
I have worked in similar roles that support young people from disadvantage backgrounds and quickly became passionate about being a part of supporting young people that need it most. I really align with Action Tutoring’s mission and feel grateful to be able to be a part of it.
Growing up in a small town in Cornwall, I know that provisions like what Action Tutoring provide very rarely reach the more rural communities in the country so I am excited to see how Action Tutoring’s work develops in the South West.
