Aimee Goldsmith

Pronouns: she/her

Aimee is responsible for overseeing a caseload of partner schools in London, liaising and working closely with the schools and pupils as well as managing our pool of volunteer tutors.

I really enjoy being part of such a positive and supportive team, all working towards the shared goal of improving academic outcomes for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. There’s a strong sense of collaboration across teams, with colleagues always willing to offer support and share their expertise. I also really value the culture at AT—it genuinely feels like people care about you, both personally and professionally.
Previously, I worked in educational settings and with charities committed to helping young people achieve their potential. I’m passionate about supporting young people and strongly believe in education as a powerful tool for expanding opportunities. AT brings these interests together, making it an incredibly rewarding place for me to work.
I really enjoy the variety that comes with the Programme Coordinator (PC) role. It allows me to visit different schools across London and engage with staff, pupils, and tutors in a hands-on way. I also value the time spent in the London office, where I can connect with colleagues in the same role—there’s a strong sense of shared experience, and it’s easy to turn to each other for support and advice. One of the most rewarding aspects of being a PC is witnessing tutoring in action and hearing success stories directly from school staff and tutors. It’s clear that what we’re doing is making a real difference.
