As Yorkshire Programme Coordinator, Phoebe is responsible for our tutoring programmes in partner schools in West and South Yorkshire, liaising and working closely with the schools and pupils as well as managing our pool of volunteer tutors.
After moving back to the UK from Aotearoa New Zealand I started at Action Tutoring, a perfect role for me to combine my previous experience in the charity sector and my passion for making the world a fairer place through education.
I particularly enjoy all the learning aspects of my role; whether I’m widening my maths knowledge in a tutoring room, learning how to use new software, or learning new slang from the pupils, it’s always a school day at Action Tutoring.
