Pupils tutored in English and maths through our programmes are significantly more likely to meet expected standards in SATs. In 2023–24:
- 24% more pupils met the expected standard in English
- 20% more pupils met the expected standard in maths (compared to other pupils facing disadvantage nationally)

Targeted support: Tutoring is designed for pupils who are at risk of not meeting the expected standards in their Key Stage 2 SATs, building confidence and progress in essential reading and maths skills.
Curriculum alignment: The program’s resources are developed by curriculum specialists to be fully aligned with the SATs, ensuring the content is relevant and targeted for exam preparation.
Structured resources: Tutors use carefully structured workbooks with detailed guidance on explaining concepts, addressing common misconceptions, and providing activities to build pupil understanding.
Progress monitoring: The program includes progress monitoring and regular updates to track pupil development and ensure effectiveness.
Reduced teacher burden: Our trained tutors and Programme Coordinators take responsibility for delivering the tutoring sessions, freeing up your valuable teaching assistants and class teachers to focus on whole-class instruction.
