As Data Lead, Sam collects and reports on data about our programmes, to better understand what we are doing well and how we can improve our practice.

I’m a former maths teacher and I tutored maths with AT while working at a couple of my roles since leaving teaching. Before AT, I worked as an Evaluation Officer at Frontline, the social work charity, and the step up to Data Lead felt like a natural fit for me to bring my expertise to another charity working to improve the lives of young people.

I enjoy being able to bring data together from a range of different sources to tell a story about the work we do. And, of course, working with such great people at AT! My favourite thing is the tangible difference we are making to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the country

I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the RCT, increasing the number of schools we work with, and seeing how the organisation evolves in the coming months and years!
