Freya supports recruitment, compliance and employee processes across the organisation, ensuring all safer recruitment standards are met. She is also responsible for coordinating HR processes and acting as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns raised.
I enjoy being a part of a mission-driven organisation, where the values are truly embedded in the culture. The AT team is so supportive and everyone is happy to help one another.
I have always worked in education but I wanted to be closer to the direct impact on young people. Action Tutoring’s commitment to tackling educational inequality aligns with my passion for education and making a meaningful difference.
I love the variety in my role and the opportunity to work with colleagues across the whole organisation. I also find it rewarding knowing that my work is helping to create a safer environment for young people.
I am looking forward to further strengthening internal processes to make the organisation even more efficient for both staff and volunteers.
