My main motivation in work is to make a difference to the world around me and I really feel that I am doing that at AT. Working directly with the pupils that we support, I can see the difference we are making in their lives. In addition to the wonderful pupils and schools that we support, I have some truly amazing colleagues and everyone at AT is always happy to help you out.
Growing up with a teacher as a mother, the value and importance of education was instilled in me from a young age. I believe that every child deserves an equal opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background, and Action Tutoring’s mission to bridge the educational attainment gap for pupils facing disadvantage is something that resonates deeply with me.
The expansion of our virtual programmes means that we are able to increase our reach and means that we can make a bigger impact on closing the attainment gap for pupils facing disadvantage, including ones that would not ordinarily have access to these kinds of programmes due to their location.
