Kellie joined Action Tutoring in May 2019 and moved into the Marketing and Communications team in 2020 as Partnerships Coordinator (Universities). As of January 2022, she’s now the Marketing Manager.
In this role Kellie is responsible for driving new applications from potential volunteer tutors through the charity’s marketing channels.
Having previously volunteered in schools, I saw first-hand how tailored interventional support positively impacted pupils who were struggling in the classes I worked in. Action Tutoring’s mission of closing the attainment gap with tutoring support is what attracted me to apply.
I most love working with such a supportive and collaborative team, and feeling motivated on a day-to-day basis by the mission we’re working towards. I feel most excited when we get to hear moving stories from our pupils, volunteers and schools!
